My name is Amy Leung and I now live in Hong Kong. I am a teacher, writer and part-time actress and model. I specialise in training all kinds of individuals or groups in the Cantonese language, with customised programs tailored to the needs of my students.
Above all, I ensure that learning Cantonese with me is fun !!!
I have an extensive background in teaching Cantonese to executives and professionals of many nationalities, including Japanese and French as well as native English speakers.
I was brought up in Hong Kong and initially studied overseas in Melbourne. From there I crossed the Tasman Sea to New Zealand where I gained my degree at the University of Auckland.
Whilst studying and later when working in New Zealand I began to give language training (in Waiheke Island). Since returning to Hong Kong a few years ago, I have made Language Training my specialisation.
I understand the trepidation that most people feel about attempting this language, so I have continued to refine my method of teaching the language over many years. With my methods I am routinely able to cause my students a positive surprise over their progress.
I also have experience in teaching Mandarin at the beginner’s level for students spanning the range from a Bank VP to a six year old child.
