About Us
Educational Excursions provides participants with life-changing opportunities through service learning. This may see them help build a school in Thailand, or a medical clinic in Vietnam. Whatever the project, participants will be guided through a reflection process on the service experience. Through this exercise they will come to understand the project’s significance and hopefully learn much about themselves. Among other things, these lessons are aimed at encouraging participants to engage with important global issues.
Teachers coordinate all aspects of our programmes, which are then run by our carefully selected partners on the ground. We collaborate only with organisations that truly benefit the communities in which they work. Through well-established consultation processes, which place host communities at their centre, our partners can guarantee beneficial outcomes. Ongoing sustainable development and a net positive impact on host communities are our primary service goals.
